1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Finbloom ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Finbloom is a personal financial intelligence platform that helps users track, analyze, and understand their finances. The Service provides AI-generated insights, projections, analytics, and portfolio tracking for informational and educational purposes only.
3. Not Financial, Investment, Tax, or Legal Advice
Finbloom is not a licensed financial advisor, investment advisor, broker-dealer, tax advisor, or legal advisor. Neither Finbloom nor its operators hold any financial services license, registration, or authorization in any jurisdiction.
All content provided by the Service — including but not limited to AI-generated insights, projections, charts, suggestions, investment analytics, loan comparisons, and savings calculations — is for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing in the Service constitutes:
- Financial advice or investment advice
- A recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any security, investment, or financial product
- Tax advice or tax planning guidance
- Legal advice of any kind
- A substitute for professional consultation with licensed professionals
You should always consult a licensed financial advisor, tax professional, or attorney before making financial decisions. Finbloom is not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on information provided by the Service.
4. Bank Connections
Finbloom allows you to connect bank accounts through a licensed PSD2 Account Information Service Provider (AISP). By connecting a bank account, you authorize the provider to access your account information on behalf of Finbloom. Bank connections provide read-only access to transaction history and balances. Your bank credentials are handled exclusively by your bank and the PSD2 provider — Finbloom never receives or stores your banking passwords. Consent is valid for 90 days and must be explicitly renewed.
5. Brokerage Connections
Finbloom allows you to connect brokerage accounts (e.g., Trading 212, Alpaca, Interactive Brokers) to sync portfolio data. By connecting a brokerage account, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Brokerage connections provide read-only access to portfolio positions, account balances, transaction history, and dividends
- Finbloom does not place trades, execute orders, or move funds on your behalf — ever
- Finbloom is not a broker-dealer and does not provide brokerage services
- Brokerage data is provided by third-party APIs and may be delayed, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable
- Finbloom is not responsible for the accuracy or timeliness of data received from connected brokerages
- You may disconnect a brokerage at any time by deleting the associated investment account, which permanently removes all stored credentials
For OAuth-based connections, you authorize access directly on the broker's website. Finbloom never receives or stores your brokerage login password.
6. No Guarantees on Data Accuracy
While we strive for accuracy, Finbloom does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data displayed in the Service — including data from connected brokerages, bank accounts, AI-generated content, financial calculations, and projections. All data should be verified independently before being relied upon for any purpose.
7. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the Service
- Upload malicious files or content
- Share your account credentials with third parties
- Use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service
- Misrepresent information provided by the Service as professional financial, tax, or legal advice
9. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Encryption Policy. Financial data you provide is encrypted at rest using per-user encryption keys and is used solely to deliver the Service.
10. Subscriptions and Billing
Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are managed through a third-party payment processor. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
11. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and trademarks of Finbloom are owned by Finbloom. You retain ownership of the financial data you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Finbloom and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:
- Financial losses based on information, projections, or insights provided by the Service
- Losses arising from inaccurate, delayed, or incomplete data from connected brokerages or bank accounts
- Losses arising from reliance on AI-generated content
- Damages from unauthorized access to your account
- Service interruptions or data loss
You use the Service at your own risk. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Finbloom and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your reliance on information provided by the Service.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bulgaria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sofia, Bulgaria.
15. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
